New Moon Comics, LLC is proud to offer the best in Comic Books, Toys, Games, and related products to you within a fun-friendly environment. But, our store will also follow a strict policy to better serve you, as well as insure the successful continuation of our business.

Gaming Room & General Store Policy

The following are the updated guidelines for our Gaming Room:

No Smoking!
Be courteous to other customers; please keep vulgar/offensive language in check. We suggest keeping the store "PG" at most.
No outside drinks permitted. This includes fast-food soft drinks, and any containers purchased outside of the store. The only exception is specific drinks such as Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate served in cups (bottled Iced (or other) coffee, tea, etc. is not permitted).
No outside snack food (candy, chips, etc.) permitted. There are no exceptions.
Outside food (i.e.: meals; pizza, burgers, etc.) is permitted in the gaming room only.
No unpaid merchandise in the Gaming Room. Comics, Graphic Novels and Gaming Books need to be purchased before being read.
No drinking of any kind in the retail space of the store - please keep all drinks (closed or otherwise) in the gaming room only.
Please do not use unpaid merchandise to look up gaming information. Merchandise can not be used as source-material. Please ask other players to borrow their book(s). The more a book is read, the more it looks used; the less likely someone would be willing to purchase it.
Dispose of all garbage in any of the cans located in the gaming room only. In the case of outside food, if your trash is too large for our garbage cans, or would cause the can to fill, you may be asked to take your trash directly to our dumpster. And Yes, The dumpster service recycles, that is what we pay them for.
Do not block walkways or create obstacles. Keep your backpacks/bags etc. in the wired cubbies provided. If you fear theft of your properity, we ask you keep your items in your vehicle or you may ask us to hold them in a safe place. New Moon Comics, LLC does NOT sell used product or single gaming cards/peices.
No soliciting of any kind in the store. This includes discussing dollar amounts for value of trades, and advertising other stores. We strongly encourage trades; but the discussion of 'dollar-value' can be misconstrued as the store brokering a sale/transaction. Anyone exchanging currency in the store for trades or merchandise (re-payment of a current store purchase is excempt) will need to give the store 80% of the total value of the exchange (we will collect 7% NJ Sales /Use Tax and 73% of the transaction amount)

Return Policy

The following applies to all items sold in the store:

All returns must be within 14-business days of purchase date (i.e.: each day the store is open constitutes a "business day").
Original receipt must accompany all returns.
All returns are for STORE CREDIT only. There will be no cash/credit card refunds of any type. Adjustments require original sales receipt.

Comic Books/Collectibles/Cards/Supplies:

No returns, refunds, or exchanges are available with the purchase of any new or back issue Comic Book, Cards (TCG/CCG/etc.), or Collectibles (Statues, Posters, Limited Edition items, etc.).
Supply items (Comic Boxes, Bags, Backing Boards, etc.) may be returned for STORE CREDIT within 14-business days of purchase only if they are still in their original unopened packaging (backing boards/bags) and in sellable condition. Comic Boxes will inspected for damage and credit is handled on a case-by-case basis.

Toys & Games (This includes Miniature game items and accessories):

STORE CREDIT will be provided for any unwanted purchased item within 14-business days.
Item must be unopened and still secure in it's original packaging.

Special/Custom Orders & Pre-Paid Subscription Service:

There are no refunds, exchanges, or credits issued for any special/custom order items or pre-paid subscription items. Items cancelled by the publisher/manufacturer will be credited in full for that item only, or if item has not arrived in store within 6 months (pre-orders).

Reading In The Store

Although one of the most difficult things to do. New Moon Comics, LLC can not permit the reading of unpurchased items in the store. Our business depends on the sale of comics and graphic novels. And what one customer feels is harmless wear to a book, another customer sees as damage.

We do not mind anyone looking through our books to get an idea of the story or art - In an effort to make an educated purchase. But the complete reading of any item within the store is not permitted.

Changes to Policy

Any changes to company policy will be posted on this site and in the store. Posted policy takes precedence over any previous posted policy.
